With the new year upon us, it was a great opportunity to engage with the local community through football and well-being with the launch of the PTFC Community Club. With the progression of Pershore Town both on and off the pitch over recent years it felt like the time was right to give back to the members of the Pershore community with a host of different festivals, sessions and holiday camps.

The first of the exciting venture will be to host a Christmas Fun Days camp at the Recruit 12 Community Stadium. This will then be followed by the beginning of development centres, walking football, disability sessions, futsal sessions and school provision (PPA & after school club cover) for the use of everybody in the community.

We caught up with the Chairman of Pershore Town Rob Billé this week on his thoughts on the new project.

"This is exciting times for Pershore Town to expand and engage with the local community and really show what this football club has to offer. We have an ever growing and successful youth section with 24 teams and we as a club think this is the next step in our journey to provide provision to all ages and abilities."
