Clarke, who has been representing England out in Montesilvano, near Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy at the Deaf Futsal European Championships, is set to fly home on Sunday following England's exit from the tournament.
Whilst England progressed through their group stage with three wins from three, which now qualifies them for the Deaf Futsal World Cup out in Brazil next year, they came unstuck against Czech Republic in yesterday's Quarter Final.
Jamie featured in two of England's group games after a suspension prevented him from making an appearance in the 7 - 1 opening fixture against Bulgaria.
Clarke played in the 3 - 1 win over Switzerland before scoring five times against Bosnia and Herzegovina in an 11 - 2 win to top Group D.
Yesterday Czech Republic proved too strong for the Three Lions, who all self fund their time away representing their country. England fell 4 - 1 behind before nearly finding a way back into the game at 4 - 5 but a sucker punch ended their hopes right at the death.
"I thought we were superb in our group games, we surprised ourselves by how well we played in those three games and all other countries were talking about us." said Clarke.
"Onto the quarters, knockout futsal, one game one chance, we just came up against a proper futsal side, Czech, and they beat us 6 - 4.
"It was a very physical game and some of our errors simply let us down, but we accept that and we'll learn from it to become a better futsal team ourselves.
"We are just pleased that we've reached our best finish in history by qualifying for the World Cup but today we play for 5th - 8th place against Holland."
Meanwhile, at the same tournament, England's Women's Deaf Team have reached the final after beating Germany 7 - 3 in the Semi Final.
