"Buzzing to be able to announce Kian Hamer. My captain from last season and someone who I believe can continue his pathway up the pyramid. Last season was a little stop start for Hamer, with a few injuries. But someone we knew when he was playing, we were a better team for it. A brilliant leader and someone can really mix it. Technically very good and also able to get stuck in and play the ugly side well. He was at Coventry City Academy for years and you can see why. He was not short of offers this pre season and so to get his signature, was a huge coup for us. He has came into pre-season in good shape and I am looking forward to seeing him in a plums shirt"
