Steele, who is no stranger to Danny Janes having played under the manager at FC Stratford, has joined The Plums from Southern League side, North Leigh.
Having made his name in local football at Southam United, Steele joined FC Stratford ahead of the 2021/22 season and after scoring sixteen in nineteen games he moved to Easington Sports.
Twelve goals in ten games for Easington Sports at Step 5 then led to a move to Step 4's North Leigh. Steele made a huge impact at North Leigh and helped the club to secure promotion to Step 3 via the play-offs.
Whilst an injury had kept Levi out for a period of time this season, the energetic striker has found game time tough to come by following a managerial change in November.
Steele is also no stranger to Pershore Town having featured in both the Smedley Crooke Cup Final against Malvern Town and in the mid-week Hellenic League away clash against Worcester Raiders last season, where he scored the winner.
Pershore Town would like to thank North Leigh for waiving the seven day approach.
"We are absolutely delighted to secure the services of Levi for the remainder of the season." said Janes.
"We had Levi with us during our time at FC Stratford and it is a pleasure to work with him once again.
"Levi joined North Leigh and has scored goals this season for them at Step 3 for a side who are fighting for their survival. Circumstances changed for him and we became aware he was exploring his options.
"He has had offers from clubs closer to home and at a higher level than ourselves. He believes in what we are trying to achieve here and wants to contribute to the success of the team.
"Levi knows how highly myself and Tom think of him and I hope that played a pivotal role in his decision to sign.
"It is a real coup for the club and gives us that fire power we have been lacking over the last few games."
Meanwhile, after confirmation that the paperwork has all been completed, Levi has confirmed he's ready to get started with Pershore Town.
"It's never easy to leave a club where you've had success and created great memories." said Steele
"With North Leigh we won promotion to Step 3 and that was a fantastic achievement.
"I just felt with not long left in the season, and having spent three months out injured, I needed to move on to get some minutes and get back scoring goals.
"There is no better place to do that than joining up with a familiar management team and of course some old team mates and friends.
"Pershore is a top club, it's one I'm familiar with having watched numerous times and also played for twice last season.
"In terms of what I feel I can bring; I'd describe myself as an energetic and hard working forward player who can show feet and spin in behind.
"I'm just looking forward to getting going now and back to enjoying my football."
