Having previously signed Levi Steele on a dual registration from Step 4's, North Leigh, Janes was keen to bolster the depth within his squad to help with the forthcoming fixtures.
"Myself and Tom discussed the squad and felt with the amount of games coming up and the importance of each game, we needed to add depth and add real quality." said Janes.
"We like to work with a small squad, we are just covering all bases if we pick up any injuries, we know we can go into the next game strong with the players we have in as cover.
"They are all players we know well, players we think very highly of and most importantly, players who will add to the fantastic environment we have."
Defensively, Janes managed to confirm the dual signing of Tom Dyke and Danny Dineen. Tom Dyke has dual signed from his current club Central Ajax whilst Dineen has dual signed from Fairfield Villa.
"Tom Milward finalised the signing of Tom Dyke as he knows him well from their time together at FC Stratford, Dykey was not at FC Stratford when I joined. I have come up against him previously and always liked his composure in possession and how he reads the game.
"Danny Dineen is a player I had a few years back when we met whilst working in the same school. He has previously played for Pershore and is a great option for us at centre back. His ability to build attacks and dominate forwards are real strengths of his, a player I trust and someone who can contribute to the run in."
Into midfield, Janes was able to confirm the dual signing of Reece Hewitt from Alcester Town, a player he had mentioned previously whilst also adding James Hancocks from Rugby Town on dual registration.
"Reece is a player who is well known in non-league football due to his quality and what he has achieved. I always admire Reece as a player, I then had the opportunity to play with him and it was a pleasure. Reece is aggressive and can travel with the ball superbly, he can play in a range of positions and he is a player we really want to involve as soon as possible.
"Due to our Rugby Town links, we regularly play the club in Pre-Season games. Hanks played against us both times and he was fantastic. His technical ability on the ball and his game understanding are outstanding attributes of his. Tom Milward pushed this one over the line as he knew Hanks previously, a great addition."
Lastly, again on dual registration, Danny Janes was able to confirm the signing of Dylan Parker with Racing Club Warwick.
"Dylan is a player we have known for a number of years now. A player we rate very highly and a player who I think needs that spark again to re-ignite the ability he has. When he is at full tilt he is easily one of the best players at this level. Dylan is a top individual who is keen to help us if called upon."
Whilst the above players will only feature for Pershore Town when they aren't needed by their current clubs, Janes was close to signing another striker but hit stumbling blocks before the deadline.
There was hope of Jamie Clarke returning to the club from previous club Worcester Raiders but a mis-communication hampered the move.
"We were hopeful of signing Jamie Clarke before the deadline. Karl the Worcester Raiders manager was fantastic and agreed to the transfer. However, their secretary seemed to disappear for 48 hours. He read my messages and never answered any of my calls. Worcester then claimed they needed Jamie because of the injuries they picked up.
"Jamie left the club in October and hasn’t played for them since. It is quite a messy situation, the manager has informed him he can leave but the Chairman spoke with Jamie and said he is needed, communication is clearly an issue."
