Danny Janes is delighted to now confirm his Management Team ahead of the 2024/25 Hellenic League season.

Janes, who was announced as returning to the Football Club at the end of April ahead of the new season, has worked tirelessly to complete his Management Team heading into the 2024/25 Season.

Janes' Assistant Manager will be the returning Tom Milward with the pair having worked together previously at FC Stratford and the successful spell last time around at Pershore Town. They previously guided The Plums back to Step Five alongside securing cup success in four competitions over an eighteen month spell at the Community Stadium.

TM: "Absolutely delighted to be back. I probably didn't expect to be out of football for the whole season, I had chances to return but my intention was always to carry on my work with DJ.

"Did I expect we would return to Pershore? No. Delighted that we have though, it's a great club with great personal around it.

"Work has been taking place for a while now to ensure we are strong enough to meet our own personal targets, excited for what's ahead."

A new face at Pershore Town will be that of CJ Price who joins the club as First Team Coach. CJ, previously manager of Bourton Rovers and coach at Longlevens, is a UEFA B Coach alongside a Level Two qualified Goalkeeping Coach and is still working towards further qualifications.

CJ: "The opportunity to join the club and work with both DJ & Tom was too good to turn down when they approached me.

"From the initial messages and call it was a no brainer for me at only 26 to come in and continue my own learning and development in such an ambitious and successful environment alongside working with some top players at this level.

"It's an exciting challenge with the aim of getting to Step 4 and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone around the club."

From a new face, to a familiar face, James Rushton has been retained by Danny Janes ahead of the 2024/25 season, albeit in a slightly altered role. Rushton, who was part of Janes' Management Team previously, will take a small step away from the Goalkeeping Coaching and become a Coach working much closer with Janes and the whole squad. A popular figure within the Football Club with a positive attitude that is infectious within the First Team.

JR: "I'm really happy to be part of DJ's Management Team for the upcoming season after the success we had previously together.

"I knew if the call came from him then it would be a no brainer to work with him and TM again.

"I'm really looking forward to my new role within the First Team, it will be a massive challenge and learning curve for me but one I'm really looking forward to getting involved with and helping to take Pershore Town FC back to where it should be."

Joining the club as Goalkeeper Coach for the 2024/25 Season is James Carter, a local Level Two qualified Goalkeeping Coach. Carter has had previous experience in coaching within the Cheltenham Town Youth sector whilst also playing across the local area himself. James helped Moreton Rangers last season set up their Reserve Side by donning the gloves but is now excited to step across to the Coaching side of the game on a more permanent basis.

JC: "I'm really pleased to join the club again in a Coaching capacity having represented it at Under 18's and briefly the First Team over 10 years ago.

"A chance to return to a Club I always enjoyed playing for along with the ambitions of DJ and Tom for this season and beyond made me really want to be a part of their vision.

"I'm looking forward to getting to work with the goalkeepers we have at the club and improving and developing them further and being a part of what we all hope will be a successful season."

Danny Janes is also delighted to welcome another new face in Abi Wells ahead of the new season as Sports Therapist. Abi, who has previous experience in Rugby Union with London Irish and in Football with Newent Town last season in the Hellenic League, joins the club having spoken with Danny Janes. Already a qualified Massage Therapist, Abi is currently into her last year at Hartpury University studying BSc Sports Therapy.

AW: "I'm thoroughly looking forward to working alongside the team, Danny and Tom.

"The Management have a close bond with the squad and everyone is one big family which I love.

"I was really impressed with how the club is ran and the medical facilities are great, which we can use to rehabilitate and look after our players."
