The hosts come into the game on the back of an impressive run of results, most recently drawing with Lydney after three consecutive wins, following up a 3–1 win over Cribbs with a 5–1 home victory against Westfields, underlining their attacking threat and momentum. Cirencester have been among the league’s most potent sides this season, scoring freely and pushing their way into the promotion conversation.
Central to that threat is league top scorer and former Plum Harlie Price, whose goals have been instrumental in Cirencester’s rise up the table. His movement and finishing will be a key focus for the Pershore back line on Saturday afternoon.
Pershore will, however, take confidence from the reverse fixture earlier in the season, when a disciplined and resilient performance earned a 1–0 home victory back in August. While much has changed since then, that result serves as a reminder that Pershore are capable of matching their opponents when standards are met.
With Cirencester chasing play-off positions and Pershore continuing their battle to move clear of the relegation places, the fixture carries plenty at stake for both sides. Pershore will need to be organised, competitive and clinical if they are to frustrate a confident home side and take something from a tough away assignment.
Kick-off is at 3pm at the Corinium Stadium, with Pershore looking to produce another committed performance on the road.
