Pershore Town make the trip to Gloucester on Saturday to face an in-form Longlevens side at Saw Mills as they look to end a difficult run of league results before Christmas.

Longlevens come into the fixture in excellent form, winning five of their last seven matches across all competitions. Their recent run includes league victories over Roman Glass St George (3-2), Slimbridge (1-0), and Worcester Raiders (3-1), as well as cup progressions against Slimbridge and FC Stratford. They were only narrowly beaten on penalties by Mangotsfield in the Midweek Cup at the weekend.

They have proven strong at home all season, taking points off several top-half sides and scoring freely, with notable results including a 6-2 win over Royal Wootton Bassett.

Pershore, meanwhile, head into the match looking to turn positive signs of improvement into points. Despite strong spells of play in recent weeks, goals have been hard to come by, with the Plums failing to find the net in their last six outings. Performances against Cinderford, Fairford, and Hereford Pegasus have all shown promise, but fine margins and missed opportunities continue to frustrate.
