Pershore Town return to home action on Saturday as they welcome Mangotsfield United to That Carpet Place Community Stadium in the first league fixture of 2026.
The visitors arrive under new management, with Ollie Price taking charge of Mangotsfield United for the first time since being appointed earlier this week. Price returns to Cossham Street for a second spell in charge of the Field, having most recently spent four years managing Larkhall Athletic in the Southern League.
Mangotsfield have had mixed results in recent weeks but remain a well-organised and competitive side. They will be keen to respond positively under their new manager and build momentum heading into the new year.
Pershore, meanwhile, will be looking to turn encouraging recent performances into results. Displays away at Longlevens and Highworth showed clear signs of improvement, and the Plums will be eager to start 2026 with a strong home showing in front of their supporters.
With a fresh start for both sides and plenty at stake early in the new year, Saturday’s encounter promises to be a competitive and intriguing contest.
