Pershore Town return to home action this weekend as they welcome Royal Wootton Bassett Town to the Community Stadium for what promises to be another competitive Hellenic Premier fixture.

After a solid run of performances attention now turns to another tough test against a side who came out victorious last time they both met, winning 2-1 at the Community Stadium back in March.

The Opposition
Royal Wootton Bassett come into the game looking to rediscover their early season form after a difficult recent spell. Their last league outing saw them suffer a heavy defeat away at Worcester Raiders (7–2), following a 1–1 draw against Westfields and narrow losses to Droitwich Spa and Tuffley Rovers.

Despite that run, Bassett have proven they can find the net — scoring in all of their last six fixtures — and have recorded notable wins over Cribbs and Corsham earlier in the campaign.

The management team have spoken about closing fine margins and being more clinical in key moments — and with another good crowd expected, they’ll be hoping to turn solid performances into points after last weeks narrow home defeat to Westfields.
