The Plums had been due to tackle the elements last weekend with a trip to Bristol to take on Mangotsfield United, but Storm Darragh had other ideas and it left Janes' side without a fixture.
A return to action this weekend will again see The Plums head south down the M5, this time for Roman Glass who are flying high in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
Glass did feature during last weekend's storm, they took on fellow Hellenic League side, Highworth Town, in the FA Vase. The Glass progressing into the later stages with a comfortable 2 - 0 win over Highworth with Laurent Wilson and Jack Smith both on the scoresheet in the second half.
The host did suffer defeat last time out in Hellenic League action, a narrow 1 - 0 defeat away to league leaders Hartpury University left them nine points behind the students but with two games in hand.
There's a whole host of talent within the Roman Glass St George squad; Laurent Davis-Wilson leads the way in the goals scored column. After hitting double figures last season, Davis-Wilson already has twelve goals to his name in eighteen games this time around.
Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist is just one behind Laurent with eleven goals for the season, however the Roman Glass captain hasn't featured for the club since the beginning of November in the FA Vase where he came off early in the second half. There has been a bench unused appearance since, but no playing time for the former Bristol Rovers Academy graduate.
Chris Lines will provide the experience in midfield for Roman Glass, the former Bristol Rovers midfielder has been a key figure for tomorrow's hosts this season, chipping in with five goals in twenty two games for the deep lying midfielder.
Jennison Myrie-Williams is another former professional which Danny Janes' side will need to watch out for. The former Dundee United, Port Vale and Newport County wide man has eight goals in nineteen games for The Glass this season, including scoring at the Recruit 12 Community Stadium back in October.
The recent addition of Jack Smith from Slimbridge adds lot of energy into the Glass midfield. Smith had been Slimbridge's best player this season before moving across to high flying Roman Glass. He scored on debut for Roman Glass in Saturday's FA Vase victory and he'll certainly be looking to keep that run going tomorrow afternoon.
For Danny Janes' side, he'll be hoping his side can show a similar performance to the one against Roman Glass back in October, The Plums coming from 2 - 0 down to win the game 3 - 2 in the second half.
James Baldwin and Aidan Clark are tied as top goal-scorers for The Plums so far this season, both have ten goals to their name whilst Bailey Fuller sits behind them on seven goals with his last goal coming at the end of October against Fairford Town.
Reiss Taylor-Randle is expected to feature tomorrow afternoon for his debut following a recent move from Midland Football League side, Studley. The former Worcester City midfielder has impressed in training and is highly rated by Janes after the pair worked together briefly last season.
Sean Cooke will be hopeful of taking part in some of the game, a niggle will be assessed late on to see whether the full back will have any impact.
Jake Donnelly will return to action following suspension, he's expected to start and after scoring the winner against Roman Glass back in October, Janes will be hopeful he can register on the scoresheet once again.
Tomorrow is as tough as they come this season, The Glass are flying and The Plums will need a performance in Roman Glass' backyard if they want to begin climbing the league table.
"Potentially our toughest game of the season against a side littered with quality." said Janes.
"They have a great mix of youth and experience, their league position demonstrates that.
"The players trained well in the week and we have an idea of how we want our performance to look.
"The players will have to be at their best and execute what we want with quality and detail.
"We are looking forward to the challenge and are ready to go."
