However, their momentum was checked last weekend when they suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 1–0 at home to Southern League Premier side Dorchester Town in the FA Cup courtesy of a goal from former Swindon Town midfielder Tom Smith.

Casey Collins who joined in the summer from OJM leads the way in the goalscoring chart, having netted six from seven appearances, whilst Jack W Smith has also contributed with five from eight appearances.

Pershore head into the fixture full of confidence after an excellent Bank Holiday weekend, where Dev Ward’s side recorded back-to-back victories — a 4–0 home win against Lydney Town followed by an impressive 3–1 triumph at Hereford Pegasus on Monday night.

Pershore came through Monday night with no new injury concerns, whilst the club still await the return of injured trio Macca King, Reece Day and Tyrese Griffin, with Jude Hill still unavailable, whilst Jack Griffiths Perry is expected to be back in contention for a place in the squad.
