Pershore make the trip to Thornbury knowing that the sides are closely matched, with Thornbury sitting just three places and three points behind in the table as both teams look to pick up a much-needed league win.
The hosts have been difficult to beat at home and come into the game off the back of a dramatic 3–3 draw with Tuffley Rovers last weekend, having also beaten Fairford Town and picked up points against sides around them in recent weeks.
Callum Chalmers has been Thornbury’s main threat, already hitting double figures in the league with ten goals, and Pershore will be well aware of the danger he poses in and around the box.
Pershore, meanwhile, will be looking to build consistency and turn solid performances into results. Having shown encouragement in recent outings prior to Mangotsfield, the focus will be on tightening up at one end while being more clinical at the other as they aim to create a bit of breathing space between themselves and the chasing pack.
When the two sides met at Pershore at the start of the season it was Yuri Quintas at the double as Pershore ran out 3-1 winners.
