Steve Webb has welcomed the return of Danny Janes and committed to The Plums for the forthcoming season in the Hellenic League.
With over 500 games for the Football Club, 'Webby' will be looking to enhance those numbers whilst Pershore Town aim for further success.
Just for one season was Steve convinced to leave Pershore Town, the 2018/19 Season, featuring for Malvern Town after being convinced by the vision of joint managers Lee Hooper and Dene Whittal-Williams.
The forthcoming season will be Steve's 16th season playing for Pershore Town, he's captained a few of those seasons too.
Danny Janes has welcomed the retention of 'Webby', a player that he played with at Pershore Town and managed previously during the club's recent success.
A versatile player, who can be relied on in every game he plays.
"I class Steve as Mr Pershore, his services over the years to the Club have been nothing short of outstanding." said Janes.
"To play in a team for so many years for various different managers shows the ability he has as a player that each manager has wanted to retain him at the Club.
"Steve's game understanding and tactical awareness are assets of his game I feel are under valued, every manager needs players who can assess the game as they play.
"His technical qualities speak for themselves, he can link the play through the thirds with his range of passing and his decision making is one of the best in the squad.
"Steve was fantastic for me during my first spell as manager and I was delighted we achieved what we did together because of our history as players.
"Steve will be an asset to us this season and I know he is really looking forward to the challenge of another season with pressure and ambition."
Steve Webb is looking forward to working with Danny Janes again having played a huge part in the club's success last time around.
"I'm delighted to be staying for another year." said Webb.
"I've been here a long time now, played over 500 games for the Club and I still enjoy it as much as when I started. It feels like home!
"I was really happy to hear DJ and TM were returning. We had a fantastic period when they were here previously and hopefully we will achieve our goals this time around too.
"We've got a really good group of lads, with a lot of quality in the squad and I've really enjoyed pre-season with them.
"I still feel I can contribute a lot on the pitch and I just want to do as much as I can this season to help the Club, Management, fans and all those behind the scenes who work so hard, to achieve its goals."
