"The decision was such a difficult one to make but one I feel is the right one. I will be using the time away from the game to reflect, refine and develop my own practice. At such a young age in terms of management, it is important that I continue my learning journey and have the flexibility with my time to really implement that process.

"I am looking at potentially completing my Masters Degree, further Coaching Qualifications and self-reflecting on the journey so far. I want to critique myself and ensure that when I do return to management, if that opportunity arrives, I am the best version of myself.
