"Preparation in the off season, has been ongoing now for weeks. Whilst it has been nice to have a break and some down time, work hasn't stopped. We are now less than a week away, from beginning our pre-season schedule and as a management team, we cannot wait to get going. It's no secret, that we took the job on with the view to completely rebuild the squad and with that, has seen the majority of last year's squad move on who we wish well in their new endeavours.

We are really pleased, with how the squad has taken shape to date and we cannot wait, to announce the new signings. We have some exciting ones to share with you which should get our fan base excited and intrigued. But aside from the names and reputations, we have assembled a group of lads who are good people and who I know the club will warm too. Whilst I cannot guarantee the outcome of games, what I can guarantee our fans is that there team will be extremely hard working and together as a unit to take this club forward.

We have a tough preseason schedule which is by design, to really test the boys and get some good lessons learned before we begin our campaign. The league is going to be very competitive, with plenty of clubs ready to challenge and us included. We know it won't be easy, but we aren't here to make up the numbers and survive. We want to challenge at the top end of the table and go as far into the cups as we can.

I am really pleased with our management team and the balance we have in that. Each one of them, is totally committed to the end goal here. Really looking forward to next week and watching the squad develop over the next few weeks. We welcome Worcester City FC on the 4th July and it would be brilliant to have a big crowd down there.
