Parker, who was first appointed in May 2022 following the creation of Pershore Town's Development Team, has recently featured in a playing capacity for Bromyard Town throughout Pre-Season but now returns to the managerial spotlight at Pershore.
Having left the club in October 2023 to move into a First Team capacity at Littleton, in the Midland Football League, Adam has gained further experience that will aid the development of Pershore's Development Team.
In the Development Team's first season, 2022/23, Adam Parker guided the side to third in the Hellenic League Division Two West, pushing a fresh squad of players to develop into open aged football quickly.
The following season saw a move across to the Midland Football League where The Plums, again under Parker's stewardship, started the season with five wins in their opening eight games.
With the Development Team now moving back into Hellenic League Division Two West and in welcoming Adam Parker back, the club are excited for another successful period.
"It's great to be back! I'd be lying if I said I'd anticipated this would happen after leaving for Littleton." said Parker.
"I've enjoyed some time out and I got back into the playing side of things however, injuries have prevented me from really pushing that.
"I love football and the opportunity to return and have the option there to progress in the further was a no brainer for me.
"I said when I left that this is a special Football Club. The people behind the scenes are amazing, it's like I've never been away.
"With DJ and TM back with the First Team and Mike Bishop still with the Under 18's, I was keen to get back and work with them again.
"There's absolutely no secret to this one, I've had the conversations with DJ and TM previously, long term my goal is to one day manage the First Team.
"Right now my focus is fully on the Development Team of course, there's definitely a little feel put 'out of the frying pan and into the fire'.
"Just over two weeks now to get ourselves into a competitive situation, I've got good experience in these types of jobs now, after taking the Littleton job last year in the position they were in.
"I thrive off being in pressurised situations with the goal to create success. The time scale is not ideal of course, but there's no time to dwell.
"We'll look to build a project here, just like we did first time around. I want people on board who want to be part of a winning culture, see a pathway, but also have some fun along the way.
"We want to create a special environment where players can thrive and enjoy their football.
"The pathway is the important bit, it's massively important to what we want to provide.
"The young lads will of course need some older heads in the room to help then progress, not just in football but as people and characters.
"Last time around the pathway was there, we've seen a handful of lads that have gone on to represent the First Team and whilst some weren't quite ready I took them to Littleton and gave them that opportunity at Step 7.
"There's a few lads I am really looking forward to working with again and I'm told of a handful of really talented lads already at the club who I hope can join us too.
"Mike has had an unbelievable season last year and would always want his boys to push on to get some good experience. We'll produce a side that will have a healthy blend between you and experience.
"It's down to business for us now."
The club are excited to see the progression within the Development Team and will provide further updates over the next couple of weeks.
