Pershore Town Complete Double Signing Ahead of Key Run-In

Club News9 Jan - 15:43

Pershore Town boost the squad with a double signing, welcoming experienced left-back Henry Dyde and proven striker Jamie Lucas ahead of a busy run.

Pershore Town FC are delighted to confirm the double signing of Henry Dyde and Jamie Lucas, strengthening the squad at both ends of the pitch as the season enters a crucial phase.

Henry Dyde joins the club from Worcester Raiders and brings real consistency and experience on the left side. A left-sided defender, Dyde has made over 40 appearances across the past two seasons for Raiders and has also featured regularly at Step 5 with Westfields and Hereford Lads Club, racking up close to 50 appearances for the latter.

Still only in his mid-20s, Dyde offers defensive discipline and experience of the League. He has already shown his reliability with regular starts at his previous clubs and will add valuable competition and depth down the left flank.

Joining him is striker Jamie Lucas, whose career includes extensive experience in the professional and semi-professional game. A former Bristol Rovers player, Lucas has enjoyed spells at a number of well-known non-league clubs including Weston-super-Mare, Gloucester City, Boreham Wood, Woking, Bath City, Brackley Town, Halesowen Town, Redditch United, Evesham United and most recently Worcester Raiders and Stourport Swifts.

Lucas brings a proven track record at Step 3 and Step 4, having scored regularly during loan spells earlier in his career and offering a strong physical presence, movement, and experience in the final third. His arrival adds much-needed attacking experience to the Pershore forward line as the club looks to convert strong performances into results.

The club would like to welcome Henry and Jamie to Pershore Town and looks forward to seeing them in action in the weeks ahead.

Up The Plums.
