Danny Janes' side came into the game having lost to Tuffley Rovers and Hartpury University, The Plums were without a win in three games and we hopeful of progressing in the Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup.
It was, however, the visitors that secured their place in the Quarter Final with a very comfortable win over Pershore under the lights.
There was spells with the ball for The Plums but very few moments where they looked to have caused the Sixways club problems.
"A complete contrast in performances from the two sides and a fully deserved win for Worcester Raiders." said Janes.
"We got away with not conceding numerous times in the opening ten minutes. We never got going and should have been behind before we scored against the run of play.
"We then get given a lifeline when they went down to ten. It wasn't a red because Cotty should never have received his first yellow. At half-time we spoke about just having ten minutes to see how the game looked but we then get a red card and it evens the game up.
"I felt the referee could not wait to even the game up but both teams will feel unhappy about the red cards.
"It looked like men against boys throughout the game. I thought every Raiders player had a good game, whereas I only had two of mine as having any sort of real impact. When you have that much of a difference in performance levels then you can suffer the way that we did.
"I felt Raiders thrived on the dynamics of the game but our players lacked that intensity. We can have no complaints, they were by far the better side on the night and thoroughly deserved to win in the manner they did.
"We now have to pick ourselves up again and try and finish the season as strong as we can. Since we had a really good run of form we have massively fell away."
