
We'll start this week on Thursday evening where Mike Bishop's Under 18's welcomed Dudley Town Under 18's for a Floodlit Youth Southern Division fixture. Igor Savciuc had given The Plums a lead in this one but two strikes in the second half looked to have sealed the points for the travelling Dudley side. Joey Feeney however scored late on to rescue a point for Mike's side that keeps them just with fingertips on those at the top of the league.
We'll move onto Saturday morning and Andy Medler's Under 7's produced a fantastic performance against Illminster! Gethyn scored four whilst Ethan got two, Oli, Aidan and Alfie were also on the scoresheet for The Plums.
Tim Brown's Under 8's had a tough encounter against Alcester Town on Saturday morning at Abbey Park Middle School. Cammy, Oakley and Harry K all scoring for The Plums in this one.
Tim Brown's Under 9's reached the Evesham Ambassador League Cup Final on Saturday morning at Abbey Park Middle School. The Plums took on Drakes Broughton with Oscar (2) and Harry B on the scoresheet in this one.
David Saunders' Under 10's took on a very good Alcester Town Roman's on the back pitch at the AIM Community Stadium, although still in the game at half time The Plums struggled to match the intensity in the second half.
AJ Mountain's Under 11's took on Catshill at Eckington on Saturday with Cam & Riley on the scoresheet to secure a positive result for AJ's side in the Mercian League.
Jon Dean's Under 11 Bullets travelled to Inkberrow on Saturday morning for back-to-back friendlies. Reece and Luke both scored for The Plums across their games.
Richard Morley's Under 12's beat Oldbury Park Bengals away from home in the Quarter Final of the League Cup. Troy, Anthony and Dara each scored to secure a 3 - 0 win for The Plums in a game which they dominated for large spells.
Jason Neville's Under 12 Bullets were also winners on Saturday morning, Kyan scored the only goal of the game which puts The Plums top of the league whilst Levi saved a penalty to secure the 1 - 0 win.
AJ Mountain's Under 12 Girls' lost out to league leaders Worcester City. Rihanna Croy scored for The Plums in the first half with the City just 2 - 1 ahead at the interval. The Plums just running out of steam in the second half with Worcester running out 9 - 1 winners.
Phil Haines' Under 14's won away at West Worcester in a close encounter! Archie Grove scored for The Plums in the first half with the score locked at 1 - 1 before Finlay Townsend scored second half to secure the three points with a 2 - 1 victory.
Simon Hulse's Under 15's AEFL lost out for Stratford Town on Saturday in the Semi Final of the Cup. Second best for the majority of the game saw Stratford run out 3 - 0 winners.
Danny Hilditch's Under 15's MJPL lost to high flying Alvis Juniors on Saturday on the back pitch at the AIM Community Stadium. Joel Master scored from the spot for The Plums but couldn't prevent a 3 - 1 defeat to the Coventry based side who sit second just one point behind Racing Club Warwick.
Kevin Brotherton and Mick Hobbs' Under 18's AEFL secured a 4 - 0 win over Drakes Broughton on Saturday; Olly Lewis, Kieren James, Max Moulder and Joey Feeney all scored for The Plums.
Lastly on Saturday there was a win for Adam Parker's Development Team; they welcomed Bishops Cleeve Development to the AIM Community Stadium. The two side met just a couple of weeks ago so there was always a chance this one could've been a tricky tie for The Plums. Those fears were soon put to bed thanks to a hat-trick from Joe Peachey and a strike from Kian Collins to hand Pershore a 4 - 0 win.
Onto Sunday and Stuart Townsend's Under 14's had to share the spoils with Worcester City in a top of the table clash. The Plums remain unbeaten with Jack Owen on the scoresheet in the second half for Stuart's side; final score 1 - 1.
Jay Morgan's Under 15's played against Leckhampton on a tricky surface and fell to a 1 - 0 defeat which could potentially end all hopes of a league title in the Cheltenham League; just two games remaining for The Plums.
Lastly on Sunday, there was a big win for James Moreton's Sunday Team over Mickleton Rangers, Tom Daffin scored twice whilst Kian Collins, Scott Loader, Tyler Yarnold and Andrew Ward were also on the scoresheet. The Plums travel to Evesham Working Mens Club next Sunday for a Hospital Cup Semi Final fixture.
