Archie Thurston scored his first senior hat trick in dominant performance against Lydney.

Pershore came flying out the blocks and created early chances which they were unable to convert.

Efforts from Yuri Quintas and Lucas Colley were well saved in the opening 15 minutes.

Archie Thurston opened the scoring in the 30th minute latching onto a Martin Newman through ball and poking home from close range.

Thurston then doubled his tally in the 33rd minute again finishing from close range with his head.

The Plums started the second half a lot slower due to a bizarre delay during the half time interval however Thurston completed his hat trick on the 70th minute from the spot.

Joel Hill replaced Thurston and added to the scoreline in the 86th minute with a tidy finish 7 yards out.
