Danny Janes felt his side produced a complete performance in last night's Hellenic League win over Long Crendon.

The Plums travelled the long distance with a squad of 15 and Janes said his players executed the tactical detail last night.

Two goals in either half handed Danny Janes' side a 4 - 0 win over the previously unbeaten Long Crendon to sit Pershore second in the league table.

Aidan Clark opened the scoring before Jamie Clarke added a second just prior to half time. Petar Tonchev then struck twice in the second half, albeit the first could go to the dubious goals committee.

"It was a complete performance. We started the game strongly and applied pressure, we controlled possession and I felt we had a real grip over the game." said Janes.

"Long Crendon grew into the half but we didn't give them anything, I was really pleased with how ruthless we were defensively.

"We then scored two goals in quick succession just before half-time, we have spoke about taking chances when they come and we did that.

"Long Crendon changed their shape in the second half and we had to adjust, the information the players took on board and the manner in which they executed the tactical detail was outstanding.

"Long Crendon asked real questions of us in terms of our defensive shape and decision making, we dealt with what they tried to do and I don't remember them having one clear opportunity at goal.

"Going forward we always looked a threat and we should have scored more, but four goals scored and a clean sheet is a manager's dream result.

"The following we had for the game was fantastic, myself, the management and the players are so grateful for that support.

"We are looking forward to now training twice before our next game.

"We have the chance to reset, reflect and prepare for the FA Vase game against Littleton and a league game against Milton."
