Danny Janes' side will once again going into a cup game as underdogs today against Roman Glass St George.

It's been the case numerous times already this season, but The Plums will once again go into today's cup fixture, a cup final, as underdogs against higher leagued opposition.

The Plums take on Roman Glass St George of Hellenic League Premier Division in the final of the Supplementary Cup.

"We have another great opportunity to add to the success of this season and secure another trophy." said Janes.

"The players were devastated after the loss to Worcester Raiders in the Play-Offs, they want to bounce back and there is no better way than winning a trophy.

"We are the underdogs yet again, we are going to have to demonstrate we can mix it with another team from the league above.

"We will need to adjust the team slightly due to the absence of Petar Tonchev and Matt Nutt through injury, Aidan Clark, James Hancocks and Levi Steele are unavailable, Scott Hammond is a doubt due to injury also.

"It is a chance for other players to start and make an impact, we will also be starting a dual registered forward as I have not been happy with some of our attacking play.

"Regardless of what happens, it has been a fantastic season for the club and the players have been outstanding. However, myself and the management team will not accept players coasting or resting on what they have achieved, we have two trophies to play for, they are fighting for the club and for their places next season."
