"We targeted the end of June to have the squad finalised for the upcoming season, we wanted a full month together in terms of training detail before the start of the season." said Janes.
"We are delighted with our recruitment, retaining the squad from last season and adding some serious quality.
"Tom and Myself have worked extremely hard to get the players we wanted, I think those players could see how highly we thought of them and the project that is taking place at this club.
"We are almost there, we have one player to get over the line that we specifically targeted and then we are where we wanted to be. I think we will get him, we are competing with another club but he wants to be here I believe.
"I understand it's a tough decision for him but we will do everything we can to get him over the line; he is the final piece in the jigsaw in terms of how we want to set up.
"We then have a couple of great options that we are hopeful will also materialise, players that we would love to have with us, they are options we never really planned for but options that can take us to the next level."
On Tuesday 5th July, Janes will take a Pershore Town XI to Alcester Town to face Arrow Valley before travelling to Hereford Pegasus on Saturday 9th July to open the account of friendlies.
