Nutt To Miss Both Finals

Nutt, who had to come off just after half time against Worcester Raiders, has now been ruled out of the remaining two games of this season.

The defender had been playing with a "niggle" for a few weeks but scan results this week have shown the injury to be much worse than feared.

Nutt has suffered a torn soleus which has led to potential further complications with excessive swelling.

"'Nutty' has arguably been one of our best and most consistent players." said Janes.

"He is crucial to the team in terms of how we play and build possession, it is another huge loss.

"'Nutty' has been playing with this injury for a few games now, we wasn’t aware of how serious it was and all the games he has battled through has unfortunately made things worse.

"A players health comes first and we wish him a speedy recovery, we look forward to seeing him in pre-season."
