After picking up a knock in the game against Hereford Pegasus, Petar joins a list of players who's season has been cut short.

Whilst Elliott Hart and Curtis Townley have been injured for some time now, Petar Tonchev joins them on the list for players that won't feature for Danny Janes' side again this season.

With two cup finals still to play, Tonchev will take no further part after receiving results from a scan whilst back in his homeland of Bulgaria.

'The Wizard' picked up a knock whilst playing in the 2 - 0 home win over Hereford Pegasus and whilst he still featured in the following game against Shortwood United, the creative forward knew something wasn't right.

Petar has suffered a navicular stress fracture, he will now have to wear a splint for three weeks to aid recovery.

"It is a major blow to lose Petar for our remaining two games." said Janes

"He is a crucial player to this team and it was evident in the Worcester Raiders game how much we missed his creativity and quality.

"We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back next season."
