Danny Janes' side are set to return for pre-season on Saturday 11th June, with the young manager keen to point out that plenty of work has taken place during the break.

"Pre-season comes around quickly, as a management team you never really get a break as time is spent speaking with current players and contacting potential new signings." said Janes.

"I have had conversations with all of the current squad, based on the success last season every player deserves to be invited back to pre-season.

"Myself and Tom are working hard to secure the players we feel we need to move to the next level, those meetings have already started and will continue over the next few weeks.

"We want the squad finalised at the start of July, that will give us a full month together as a settled squad which will facilitate our preparation."

Work on the pitch at Pershore Town is set to begin next week, one of a number of things Janes was keen to point out how the club is looking to progress.

"We met with the Chairman and the Director of Football to review the season and to discuss the objectives for next season." said Janes.

"Mark and Les have been fantastic with us and they want this club to progress. They have agreed for essential work to take place on the pitch, one of many things they have done that demonstrates their fantastic support.

"Last season is now a distant memory in terms of what we achieved. The players will return in just under two weeks and this pre-season will be fundamental to how we start our season."
